Bobbie Hayes joins The Marden Companies [11-19-12]

The Marden Companies are pleased to announce the addition of the services of Accountant, Bobbie Hayes.  Bobbie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from West Virginia State University, and she brings with her 12 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.  Marden is pleased to welcome Bobbie as part of our Home Office Team.  Her robust experience in her field of study will prove to be an asset to the company.

Todd Probst Celebrates 15 Years with The Marden Companies [11-19-12]

Todd Probst recently celebrated 15 years working for The Marden Companies and Grove Manor Nursing Home.  Co-workers, managers and residents surprised Todd with a luncheon in his honor on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.  Todd’s co-workers worked diligently to organize the surprise event and did so successfully.  Todd was presented with appreciation gifts from both the company and his co-workers.  Jeff Scott, Facility Manager, presented Todd with a special gift explaining that, “Todd not only is a dedicated PTA, he also is a competitive athlete.”  Russ Delaney and Adam West, of The Marden Companies, carried in a very large, seemingly heavy, trophy and presented it to Todd for leading his Grove Manor Volleyball Team to championship status at the Annual Marden Picnic that was held over the summer.

Todd thanked those present for the luncheon and the gifts, as well as the enjoyment of the past 15 years.  Todd stated, “As I see it, the grass isn’t greener  anywhere else.”

Congratulations Todd!  Fifteen years is quite an accomplishment!

Jenny Sampson Joins Marden as Employee Assistance Manager [11-05-12]

The Marden Companies are  pleased to add the services of our new Employee Assistance Manager, Jenny Sampson. Jenny has a BS in Business Administration and Human Resource Management as well as an Associate’s Degree in Social Work and resides in Waterford, Ohio with her family.  Ms. Sampson is the one point of contact for all Marden employees for policy clarification, payroll questions and guidance in managing  benefits.

“We are very happy that Jenny has joined the Marden Home Office Team”, stated Randall A. Mason, President and CEO of The Marden Companies.  “Jenny will add fresh professionalism to our human resources management and will be availalbe to enhance the employment experience for all of our staff.”

Marden’s Health Care Heroes at Health Care Plus [07-14-11]

Health Care Plus, a leader in Ohio home health services was recently nominated  for the prestigous Health Care Heroes award. Columbus Business First on Tuesday honored Central Ohioans who help the less fortunate, excel and innovate in the region’s health-care industry with the newspaper’s annual Health Care Heroes awards. Honorees and finalists were recognized at a breakfast awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency. The Health Care Plus team was in attendnace to enjoy Keynote speaker Jeff Biehl,who told attendees that health care in the region has begun the process of changing to paying for better clinical outcomes instead of simply rewarding more tests and procedures, but needs to accelerate that transformation.

On Saturday, May 14, 2011, Health Care Plus as part of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life sponsored a gold outing at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Lexington, Ohio.  There were 28 teams of golfers and $7,000 was raised. (more…)
